Lions Club of Malad-Borivli - Constitution

FOREWORD

Dear Lion Friends,

A Constitution is a fundamental body of principles or establishment�precedents, according to which a state or other organization is�acknowledged to be governed.�Knowledge of the constitution makes a good club. It is the instrument�which ties the members to the club & the club to the International�Associations & assures equal rights to all.

�

Our Club, LIONS CLUB OF MALAD BORIVLI, is governed by The International�Association of Lions Clubs & has independent constitution in line with�Standard Constitution of International Association. The last amended�Constitution printed was upto 31st May 1997.

In order to build new Leadership & generate awareness of constitutional�rights, we have compiled this constitution consisting of all amendments�approved by General Body up to 31st March 2016.

The updated constitution has been made possible with the efforts of our�Lion Members Anil Tibrewala, Ashok Bairagra, Atit Ruia, Sharad Ruia and�Upendra Jaiswal who have helped in editing, composing & printing this�constitution.

Thanks to our President (2015-2016) Lion Rajit Mehra for his help and�support. This constitution is dedicated in memory to our Late Charter�Member Lion RATANLAL SARAF.

It is my request to all our club members to read the constitution,�implement it & give their suggestions.
